John William Kinkaid, Sr.

April 2, 1934 - August 28, 2021

John William Kinkaid, Sr. passed away peacefully on August 28, 2021 at the age of 87.
John was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 61 years Catherine Jane (nee Overholt) a proud and loving father to his five children Linda Masgai (Paul), Janis LaMonica (Chal), John W. Kinkaid, Jr., Joann Musilli (Tony), and Sandy Bradley (John). He was a loving "Pop" to his grandchildren Stephanie Grasso (Mike), Katie McKenna (Drew), Salvatore LaMonica (Michael), Dan Masgai (Jess), Maria LaMonica, Shannon Bender (Edward), Julie Bradley, and Kelly Bradley. He was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren Skyla LaMonica, Vita Grasso, Giorgio Grasso, Cassidy McKenna, Grace McKenna, Andrew McKenna, and Mackenzie Masgai.

John was a Korean War veteran; "Our Hero" as well as a business owner in Philadelphia for many years. He spent the past 13 years at "Waters Edge” a place he truly loved. He enjoyed cheering on his local sport teams, The Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers!!! One of his favorite pastimes was playing his weekly "5 Crowns" card game with his family!! John lived a full life with "NO REGRETS". He loved his family with all his heart.

John was loyal, generous, well-loved and will be missed tremendously by his family and friends!
