John A. Schmidt

John A. Schmidt, was born on July 28, 1957, and passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 1, 2025 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Maureen, and their three loving children: John Schmidt (Victoria), Richard Schmidt, and Allison Garvey (Don). John was also a proud "Pocky" to his six grandchildren: Brooke, Taylor, Cameron, Aidan, Sophia, and Donnie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorraine and John Schmidt. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

John dedicated an impressive 43 years of his career to Gordon's Glass. He loved being surrounded by family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed bowling and golfing throughout his life. He will be remembered for his funny and kind-hearted nature - someone his family and friends always loved being around.

A Celebration of Life for John will be held on Saturday January 10, 2026, at Sharkey’s Grill & Ale House in Philadelphia, PA, from 2 PM to 5 PM.
