On October 5, 2025 John David Walz, said, “I am ready to go Lo”, and left his family and earthly home peacefully, on his terms, which is how he always lived his life, and went home to be with The Lord, and was reunited his wife, the love of his life, Lois, to join them for eternity.
He served his country in the Army in the 101st Airborne Division during the Korean conflict.
He lived a long life and will be forever missed by his Brother Warrington Robert Walz (Sandra) He was a loving Father to John David Walz, Jr. (Patty), Michael Walz, Michele Walz, Dawn Rochelle Keller (George), and Christopher Warrington Walz (Robin). A cherished grandfather to Caitlin Kelly (William), Lisa Joyce Sanford (Matthew), John David Walz III, Michele Dawn Walz, Victoria Lynn Hollup (Michael), Carol Anne Walz, Michael Ellis, Jr., Donald Ellis, Michelle Ellis, Destiny Ball (Garrett), Justin Hunter Keller, Morgan Aurora Keller, Melissa Jannette Keller and Kaitlyn Danielle Keller. He was blessed with 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be at Washington’s crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA. 18940 where he will be buried together with his wife. Burial for John and Lois will be Friday October 24, 2025 at 10:30 am. Please make sure anyone attending arrives by 10:15 am.
