Joseph Bottomley

Joseph Bottomley, Sr. 78, of Philadelphia passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020 surrounded by his family. Joseph was born to parents Walter and Cecilia Bottomley on November 9, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA and was a lifelong resident of Fishtown.
He was preceded in death by Jean (2016) his wife of 53 years and the love of his life. His first grandchild Stephen (2002) and his brother Walter (2017). He is survived by his three children Joseph, Jr., Diane, and Karen. His grandchildren Nicholas, Matthew, Lucas, Rachel, and Ryan; his sister Mary and his nieces and nephews.
Joseph loved music and played the drums in several bands for over 35 years. He also was a self-taught keyboard player.
He loved to work with his hands and there was nothing he couldn't fix. Mostly he loved being with his family and friends and making us all laugh. He will be greatly missed.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, his services will be held on a later date.
