Joseph Crouch, 51 years old of Philadelphia, PA passed away on Sunday April 28, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 30, 1972.
Joey is survived by his beloved parents Russell W. and Joan Ann Crouch (Nee Nugent) as well as his brother Russell C. Crouch (April). He was the dear friend to Emma Nixon, and a beloved uncle to Russell, Zoey, and Cooper. Joey also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Joey was a graduate of Delaware Valley High School, and he received his Bachelor of Arts from Temple University. He was an employee of the City of Philadelphia Water Department, and a Master Mason in Richmond-Solomon’s Lodge 3, as well as the Free & Accepted Masons of Pennsylvania.
Joey had 7 years of service to Capitular Masonry. Companion Joseph Crouch was a member in good standing of Royal Arch Chapter No. 3. Companion Crouch was marked by a Lodge of Mark Master Masons, received as a Most Excellent Master, and exalted to the Supreme Degree of the Royal Arch on November 19, 2016.
Joey loved to travel. He especially enjoyed going to the Philippines and participating in their culture. He was excited to try new things and explore the unknown. He seeked to learn new things and enjoyed sharing that knowledge with others. He loved all animals and never hesitated to help an animal in need. He enjoyed hiking and being in nature. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially hearing stories from elders. He was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand, never expecting anything in return. Joey was known for his light-hearted personality, silliness, and his ability to bring laughter to any room.
Please join the Crouch family on Thursday May 16, 2024 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Joey’s life. A service for him will begin at 7:00 pm with time for refreshments and fellowship afterwards, until 9:00 pm. His family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support throughout the evening.
