Joseph Haughey

Joseph “Joe” Haughey, 80 years old of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in his home on April 2, 2022 surrounded by family.

He was born to parents Joseph and Anna Haughey on February 24, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Joe attended Northeast Catholic High School. He was the oldest of two siblings William (Barbara) Haughey and Deborah (Marlin) Hoskinson.

He married Lucille, the love of his life, in 1958 (63 years of wedding bliss). Joe is also survived by daughter Theresa (Gerald) Zimmerman, son Joseph Jr. (Mary) Haughey, daughter Michelle (Paul) Orr, and son Christopher (Jennie) Haughey, as well as a host of 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Joe dedicated his life to his family and was a known figure of 39 years at Jefferson Aria Frankford Hospital (aka Frankford Hospital).

Services will be held privately with the family.
