Joseph Maurer

Joseph P. Maurer passed away on November 14, the day before his 80th birthday.

After working hard for over 40 years as an electrician with Local #98, Joe was thoroughly enjoying retirement.

Joe recently celebrated 48 years of marriage to his beautiful wife Terry. He was a proud and loving dad to Cheryl Stark and her husband Pete, Tracey Marter and her husband Scott, Tim Maurer and his fiancée Jenelle. He was delighted to be Pop Pop to granddaughters Brynn and Riley. He will be fondly remembered by his brother Robert Maurer.

Pop Pop adored his granddoggies Stella, Calypso, Remi and Ruby. And they were obsessed with giving him endless kisses and cuddles.

Honoring his request, the family will celebrate his life privately.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and support staff at St. Mary Medical Center for their care and compassion.
