Joseph A. Rischow, born on April 18, 1954, in Woodbury, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the age of 72, Joseph left behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Joseph is survived by his devoted wife, Bernadette Rischow; his daughter, Beth Ann Fath, and her husband Christopher Fath; his son, Joseph Rischow, and his wife Jessica Rischow; and his beloved granddaughters, Paige and Peyton Fath. He found immense joy in spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters, who brought light to his life.
A car enthusiast at heart, Joseph had a passion for automobiles that was evident to all who knew him. He also loved exploring flea markets, finding treasures and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Above all else, he treasured the moments spent with his family and took great pride in being a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Joseph will be remembered as a great man who was deeply loved by all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered by family and friends alike.
May Joseph’s memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing. Please join the Rischow family on Friday, April 15, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136, for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Joseph's life. A service for him will begin at 7:00 pm, followed by time for refreshments and food, until 9:00pm. Joseph’s family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrance, and support throughout the evening.
