Karen Parisano

Karen Parisano (nee Mansfield) Parisano Karen (nee Mansfield), aged 61, passed peacefully in her sleep on December 26th, 2023.

Born February 7, 1962 in Philadelphia, Beloved daughter of the late James and Sophie (Petas) Mansfield. A graduate of Katharine Gibbs College in Philadelphia, Karen had a career as a legal secretary.

Karen has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. A lover of life and people, Karen enjoyed the Jersey Shore, traveling to Ireland, England, Jamaica, cruising to Alaska and meandering around Reading Terminal Market making friends along the way. Karen enjoyed the Mummers and Jazz, a good thriller, a love story, a warm cup of tea and a good wine.

Above all, she cherished spending time with family. Her lifework was building and maintaining the family tree on Ancestry. It was in the company of family and friends that Karen truly thrived. Her smile and sense of humor filled countless gatherings with an unmistakable warmth, creating lasting memories through experiences and heartfelt conversations.

All are invited to Karen’s funeral mass 10:00am Saturday February 3rd at St. Katherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church 9700 Frankford Avenue, Phila., PA 19114. Further arrangements will be held privately by her family.

We will forever hold Karen's memory in our hearts and find comfort in the happy memories we shared with her. Rest in peace, dear Karen.
