Kenneth H. Burton

Kenneth H. Burton passed away on May 16, 2022 at the age of 85.

Ken was the beloved husband of Marie (née Hogan) for 60 years. He is survived by his devoted wife Marie, brother, Richard Burton, and sister, Marjorie Elliston. Ken was preceded in death by his sisters Divida Sable and Ellen Troebs. He is also survived by three generations of nieces and nephews.

Ken graduated Lincoln H.S., Philadelphia class of 1954. He was a 60- year member of Bricklayers Union Local #1. He ran Kenneth Burton Masonry Company for 20 years and was a brick estimator for Giles J. Cannon, Inc. until he retired.

Ken was a past president of the Philadelphia Lions Club. He coached basketball for Mayfair Boy’s Club and Parkwood Youth Organization. Ken was a skilled woodworker, artist, and draftsman. He was an avid Flyers fan and enjoyed saltwater fishing.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ken's Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, May 24, from 9:30 am until his funeral Mass at 10:30 am at St. Anselm Church 12670 Dunks Ferry Rd., Phila. PA 19154. Followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020.
