Kim Louise Vallance

It is with great sadness we announce the passing away of Kim Louise Vallance on December 6, 2022. Kim (62) was surrounded by family as she peacefully slipped away to heaven after a short but tough fight with lung cancer.

Kim was born, in Pontiac, Michigan on October 22, 1960. She was the daughter to Emma Lou Vallance and Willard Joshua Vallance.  The family lived in Waterford, Michigan when Kim was born.  Kim graduated from Waterford Township High School in 1978.  Kim’s parents, in their retirement, moved to Caseville and Kim followed for a brief time, living in Bad Axe, then Afton and moved to King of Prussia, Pennsylvania in 2009 where she lived until she went home to be with the lord.

It was in King of Prussia that she met Bob Dimarino, they never married, but Bob was the love of Kim’s life, her very best friend and the perfect partner/husband in every way.  Kim was the happiest in life during her 12 years with Bob.  They enjoyed life together and had many great times.

Kim was the youngest of 6 children and the only sister to the bunch.  She was preceded in death by her dear brother George Vallance and both of her parents.  She will be greatly missed by all her brothers, Larry (Mary) Vallance of Oxford, Donald (Lori) Vallance of White Lake, Bill (Debbie) Vallance of Davison, Russ (Siggi) Vallance of Ochsenfurt, Germany.

Kim was mother to three beautiful girls:  Misty Vallance of Onaway, Michigan; Melissa (Brian) Graves of Bowling Green, KY; and Crystal (Kelly) Marrion of Pellston, Michigan.

Kim had 11 grandchilden all of whom she absolutely adored:  Joshua Tough, Justin Tough, DJ Stadler, Johnathon Dechape, Alexander Stadler, Cyrus Dechape, Jacob Vallance, Abbey Cleveland, Michael Dechape, Keera Marrion and Christopher Schultz.

Kim was also a great-grandmother to Brayden Dechape, whom she greatly loved and spent much of her time talking about.

Kim was a hard worker and enjoyed her job.  When she wasn’t working, she liked to spend her time in the kitchen cooking or baking. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, and making bracelets and would often have the Hallmark channel on the television.

Kim will be missed dearly by all those who knew her. At Kim’s request, there will be no public service.
