Leona Margaret Petrick

Leona M. Petrick passed away peacefully at home in the presence of her family on August 16, 2016 at age 92.

She is predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Michael C. Petrick, and her son Michael A. Petrick.

She is survived by daughter Judith P. Bartels, son-in-law, Richard, daughter Denise P. Green, son-in-law Patrick and daughter Wendy M. Petrick.

She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her daughters in addition to
Sister-in-law Jacqueline Petrick, a longtime friend and confidant, brother-in-law Robert as well as many extended family members, neighborhood friends, and the hospice nurses and staff that cared for her.

Leona was a devoted wife and mother. Remembered as the ultimate homemaker, she possessed great culinary skills and a creative talent in sewing and craftwork.

She was a lifelong resident of Bensalem Pa. She enjoyed countryside living and frequent visits to the homes of her daughters at the Jersey Shore, as well as extensive world travels with her husband.

In lieu of flowers and donations, the family asks that you remember Leona as a kind and caring woman with an open heart and mind.

She will be laid to rest with her husband at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Internment services will be private.
