Liberata A. Sweeney

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Liberata "Libby" Sweeney, age 66, a remarkable woman known for her strength, grace, and beauty. She was a loving and devoted wife to Hugh D. Sweeney Jr., cherished mother to Michael, Marissa (Joseph), and Donovan (Ashleigh), and proud grandmother to Lycia, Ava, Jesse, Kaylee, Joseph, Logan, Nicholas, and DJ.

Liberata was the beloved sister of Patricia Patroni (Tony) and a cherished aunt and cousin to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Adele Buonoacuore, her brothers Vincent and Thomas (Lecia) Buonoacuore, and her children Hugh, Anthony, and Adele.

Liberata's life was defined by her strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. Her capacity to overcome life's challenges with grace was a testament to her incredible spirit. She was a source of unwavering support to all who knew her and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of her love.

Services will be private, with a memorial to be held at a later date. The family asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Liberata's legacy of strength and love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
