Linda Ann Joniec

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Ann Joniec, age 77, on September 26, 2025.

Linda died suddenly surrounded by her husband, family, and friends.

She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Linda had a love story marriage with Tom. They had a deep commitment and connection with one another that was marked by their shared experiences, mutual support through challenges, respect for each other, honesty, and dedication to growing together. You never saw one without the other. Always holding hands and dancing cheek to cheek.

Linda is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years Thomas Joniec, Sr. Her beloved sisters Debbie (Jerry) Cantz, Sharon Farrell and her loving brother Michael Soltys. Her sons Thomas Joniec, Jr. (Mary), Gregory Joniec (preceded her in death), Peter Joniec, and Joshua Joniec; grandchildren Brittney (MaKenna), Jason (Veronique), Thomas, Alexia, Aiden, Madeline, and Grace. Many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Linda was a graduate of Frankford High School. She worked for the IRS and as a Crossing Guard for the City of Philadelphia. She loved spending time at Parx Casino riding on her Bubble Bee Scooter and playing the Penny Slots. She was always there to help her family whenever we called. Her family was her HEART!

Her memory will never be forgotten. We will love and cherish you forever in our hearts.

Please join the Joniec family on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136, for a Celebration of Linda's Life. There will be a service for Linda at 4:00 pm followed by time for refreshments and food until 6:00 pm. Her family will be accessible to receive your condolences, memories, and support throughout the evening.
