Linda E. Miller

Linda E. Miller (Davis), age 71 of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully with her family beside her on November 11, 2021. Linda is survived by her mother Amelia Davis and late father Robert R. Davis. Beloved mother of the late Bryan Casey Miller, cherished grandmother to Riley Mic Miller, devoted sister to Nancy Durant (husband Joe Durant), brother William R. Davis (wife LaVerne), late brother Robert R. Davis, Jr., cousins Joseph M. Farrell and Eileen Shoemaker. Linda, also known as Nana Lin, has many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will greatly miss her.

Linda grew up in the Harrowgate section of Philadelphia and attended Mastbaum Vocational Technical High School - 1968 (Commercial Art). Linda had a successful career in advertising for over 30 years. Linda was also a successful entrepreneur along with her son Bryan in the cleaning business. Family meant everything to Linda. She touched the lives of many people and helped create countless memories throughout her lifetime with her sense of humor, big heart, and sassy attitude. Also known as The General, she was the boss. She was petite but everyone knew she was in charge. Linda was a selfless caregiver to her parents and a doting Nana who shared a special bond with all of the children in the family. She made sure everyone got together for holiday festivities and maintained family traditions. She’d organize silly games and gift exchanges. Parties and get-togethers were always filled with lots of laughter; sharing stories and having fun. Linda enjoyed her free time in the Poconos and enjoyed traveling with her grandson on vacations. Linda, we will cherish the time we had with you and you will forever be in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in Peace.

Please join the Miller family after 1:00 pm Sunday, November 21st at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Linda’s life. The memorial tribute service will begin promptly at 2:00 with time for refreshments and fellowship immediately afterwards, from around 2:45 until 4:45 pm, where Linda's family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support.
