Linda Morrone

Linda Morrone died, surrounded by her daughters, after a long hard fight with breast cancer on May 9, 2024. Linda was born in Philadelphia on Nov 17, 1948, where she lived most of her life.  She spent her last years at Ann’s Choice in Warminster, PA.  She lived a full joyful life, always looking for ways to have fun, give back and make the most of all situations.

She is survived by her three daughters: Deena (Mike), Amy (Pete) and Natalie (Chris) and her seven grandchildren: Josh, Luke, Jules, Kenny, Emily, Chase and Francesca (Cessie).  She was the last of her immediate family, losing her parents and both of her sisters in years past.

As a loving, caring mother, Linda’s daughters have wonderful memories of days at the beach, vacations in Disney, Virginia, and Daniels in the Poconos. She was a devoted grandmother, prioritizing all sporting events, class trips, and class performances. Some of the best memories were of family dinners she hosted, especially the Easter egg hunts and holiday events.

She loved her friends.  She has always had a wonderful circle of people around her, whether it was her friends from her former employer, David Michael (the fab four), or her fellow silver sneakers friend group that started as The 7S’ and continues to grow, and friends from Ann’s Choice (The Linda club and neighbors) making time to laugh together and enjoy life.

Please join the Morrone family on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 12:00 - 3:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Linda's life. A service for her will begin at 1:00 pm with time for refreshments and fellowship afterwards, until 3:00 pm. Her family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support throughout the evening.
