Lisa M. Mandell

Lisa Merle Mandell (nee Burstein) 

With profound sadness, we share the news of Lisa’s passing on September 5, 2024. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary, parents, Arlene and the late Stanley Spector and Nissen and Pat Burstein, sister, Phyllis Snyder (David), and brother, Michael Burstein (Lisa). Stepsister to Mark Spector (Dori), Margie Berlin (Dave,) and Melanie Gaffin. Daughter-in-law of Jackie Mandell, sister-in-law of Stacy Landino, and stepmother to Megan Mandell and Josh Mandell, Lisa was also the granddaughter of the late Henrietta and Jule Schaeffer and great-niece of Pearl and Harry Schlossberg. As Godmother, she was a 2nd mom to Joshua Snyder (Danielle) and Paige Snyder and a devoted Aunt to Aaron Burstein. 

Lisa was a compassionate, thoughtful, and sweet person; always there to cheer you on or help soothe a hardship. As an Aunt, there was no better confidante or travel partner than Aunt Lisa. 

She was a great baker and would do anything for anyone without being asked. She loved to travel the world, but her true happy place was on a NJ beach. Whether Lisa knew you her whole life or had just met you, she made you feel like the only person in the room when you talked to her. 

Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, Lisa was a true friend to anyone who had the good fortune to have known her. 

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in her memory to the Gift of Life or the Pennsylvania SPCA.
