Madeline “Maggie” Osterman (nee Marcolongo) passed away on March 8, 2024 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late Frank Osterman; loving mother of Shane, Lori, and the late Dylan; cherished grandmother of Jude, Frankie, Nate, Dylan, Jake, Lilly, and the late Zachary; and dear sister of Bill (the late Rita), Marylou Bruni (Tony), the late Jack (Carol), Cookie Pedersen (Paul), the late Louie, the late Chuck (Pattie), Millie Grieco (Joe), the late Joe (Tammy), and sister-in-law Gail Farabella (Ernie). Maggie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.
Maggie was a lover of life, and many of her friends and family would agree that she was one of the greatest story tellers of all time. There were many things that made Maggie happy, but a few of her favorites include the Victorian era, going thrift shopping, playing bingo, and playing slot machines. Maggie was also a rocker, and spent many years performing at the original Electric Factory with Sweet Stavin Chain, who opened for many famous rock-n-roll artists such as The Who and Janis Joplin.
Maggie took great pride in helping those who needed it most, and on top of raising her own family, she also took in dozens of others and helped raised them as her own. She was truly one-of-kind and she left an extraordinary imprint wherever she went. Maggie will be sorely missed every single day, but her memory will live on through each and every story that her family will continue sharing in her honor.
