Margaret R. Easton

Margaret R. Easton, nee Stricker, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on October 7th, 2025, at her home at the age of 97. Born on June 26,1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of Frances Stricker (Smith) and Augustus Stricker.

Margaret (Peggy) was the loving wife of Leon (Curley) E. Easton for 58 years. Together they lived in Northeast Philadelphia where they raised their 5 children; Margaret, James, Charles, Donald and Joan. Peggy enjoyed company and loved when she had visitors. Her door was always open to her family and friend.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Leon in 2003 and her son Charles (Chuck) in 2018. She is survived by her 4 children, Margaret (Jim), James ( Joanne), Donald (Kathy), Joan, as well as 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 4 great greatgrandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

Margaret’s funeral service will be held privately at Washington’s Crossing Veteran Cemetery.
