Marguerite "Margie" Flaherty

Margie Flaherty, 67, passed away on December 11, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Flaherty Jr.; sons, Michael (Heather) and Timothy (Melanie); grandchildren; Nadia, Sean, Brennan, and Amelia. She is also survived by her brother, John Grodziski.

Margie was born to John and Margaret (nee McClay) in 1957. She was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. She retired from Fox Chase Cancer Center, where she worked for 35 years. She and her husband, Mike, recently celebrated 51 years of marriage.

Please join Margie’s family on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136, for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating her life. A service for her will begin at 7:00 pm, followed by time for refreshments and food, until 9:00pm. Margie’s family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrance, and support throughout the evening.
