Maria T. Allen

Maria T. Allen (Nee Turanckas) 53, passed away Monday January 10th in the comfort of her own home, after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family and friends until the end. Maria is survived by her beloved husband Edward, two loving children, Nicholas (26), (Samantha) and Alexa (19). Maria was the daughter of the late Joseph Turanckas and survived by her cherished mother Dolores Turanckas as well as her loving brother Joe Turanckas (Lynne), and her adored niece and nephew, Shaina and Joey.

Maria was born and raised in Bridesburg then married Ed, and they moved to Cinnaminson to raise their family. They have shared a wonderful 30 years of marriage together. Maria had a passion for nursing. She worked at Summit Surgical Center and was known to be kind and caring to every patient she encountered. She loved her coworkers like family and never wanted to miss a day of work. She was loved by everyone around her. Maria will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Please join the Allen family after 3:00 pm Saturday January 15th 2022 at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Maria’s life. There will be a visitation beginning at 3:00 pm until about 4:30 pm. A service celebrating Maria’s life will begin promptly at 4:45 pm with time for refreshments and fellowship immediately afterwards, until 7:00 pm, where Maria’s family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support.
