Maria N. Miller

Maria N. Miller, 72, of Newtown, PA passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness surrounded by family and close friends on January 18, 2024. She was born in Trenton, NJ (Dec 30, 1951) to the late William Palla & Rosalia (LaFisca) Palla. 

She was raised in Lawrenceville, NJ until moving to Bensalem, PA in 1974 when she got married to the love of her life, Joseph W. Miller. They had a daughter and bought a house in Newtown, PA where they spent the rest of their years together. They spent 44 wonderful years together, until Joe sadly passed away in 2018. 

Maria was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School (1969). She went on to attend Mercer County Community College and received an associate degree in applied science. She began her career as a secretary at Cyanamid and eventually went on to become a legal secretary for a private law practice in Princeton, NJ. She finally ended her career after working for an accountant group in Lawrenceville, NJ due to health issues. 

Left behind to cherish fond memories are her daughter, Jessica (Bill) Mizell of Sellersville, PA, and her grandsons, Jaxon and Austin Mizell whom she loved more than anything in this world. She will also be missed by all her close family friends who were there to help her throughout the years.
