Marie Anna Baus

Marie Anna Baus, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, at the age of 83.

Born in Philadelphia, Marie was the daughter of the late William Walter Moeller and Marie Elizabeth Moeller (Nee Stein). She was the beloved and devoted wife of the late Charles Baus, with whom she shared a loving marriage.

Marie was a proud and devoted mother of three children: James William Heron (Terry), Lenore Heron Timbers (the late Daniel), and the late Daniel Heron. She was a cherished grandmother to five grandchildren: James William Heron, Jr.(Neva), Jason Heron (Jenna), Devin Timbers, Andrew Timbers (Maricela) and Briana Timbers, as well as a great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren and a bonus grandmother to two.

Family was truly the center of Marie’s life. She was known for her deep love, loyalty, and devotion to those she held dear. Marie also had a profound love for animals and pets, who were a constant source of companionship and comfort throughout her life.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Hillside Cemetery, located at 2556 Susquehanna Avenue, Abington, PA 19001. The family will receive all who wish to attend and honor Marie’s life. Funeral luncheon to be held at AOH Division 61, Philadelphia, PA.

Marie Anna Baus will be remembered for her warmth, love of family, and gentle spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
