Mary Anne Smith (nee Orner)
Passed suddenly at age 74 on April 12, 2017. Dear daughter of the late Francis and Mildred Orner. Loving mother of Kelly Flanigan, Keith (Maryellen), and Kevin. Proud MomMom of Kelly, Paul (Lauren), Katelyn (John) McCuen, Erin, Moira, Seamus, Moira, and Gabrielle. Adoring MeMe of Haylie, Emma, and Nathan. Devoted sister of the late Francis (Mary) Orner, Claire (late Raymond) Keough, Alice (late Joseph) Mulvey, and David. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Mary Anne was a longtime resident of Tacony and lifelong parishioner of St. Leo the Great. She was a dedicated civilian worker for the Philadelphia Police Department-15th District. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed gathering and traveling with her Senior Citizens groups. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM, Monday, April 17, 2017 at St. Leo the Great Church, 6658 Keystone Street, Philadelphia, PA 19135, where there will be a visitation Monday April 17, 2017 from 9:00a.m. until 10:15a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the FOP Survivors Fund, 11630 Caroline Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154.
