Mazie "Tootsie" Nau

Mazie “Tootsie” Joyce Nau (Nee Kennedy) passed away on Friday March 8, 2024 with her loving family by her side. Born on May 14, 1940 she was predeceased by her beloved daughter Debra Nau Gramlich. Tootsie was the devoted wife to Richard F. Nau, Sr., loving mother to, Richard F. Nau, Jr. “Duke” (Linda Uitz Nau), John R. Nau (Marla Nau) the beloved Grandmother to Jenna Parisi, Nick Parisi, Ricky Nau, Danielle Nau, Katie Gramlich, David Gramlich Jr., Erin Gramlich, Julie Gramlich, Marina Nau, Bradley Adair, John Nau, Jessica Nau, Justin Nau as well as the cherished Great Grandmother to Ava, Alayna, and Nicky Parisi, Luke, and Lila Gramlich, and Addison, Alison, Alivia, and Ria Nau.

Tootsie was the life of the party. From her unforgettable laugh to her outrageous stories that would leaving you laughing. She was an amazing grandmom playing endless card games, playing K-mart or doctors with the kids, they couldn’t wait for her to come over to play. She had an incredible work ethic as well, dedicated employee for over 25 years at Action manufacturer, making bombs for the government. She enjoyed crocheting and you can bet if you had a baby, you were getting her beautiful blankets and let’s not forget her lottery scratch offs, and trips to the shore Her biggest enjoyment was spending time with her family. We love you and we will truly miss you, forever in our hearts.

Please join the Nau family on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Tootsie’s life. A service for her will begin at 7:00 pm with time for refreshments and fellowship afterwards, until 9:00 pm. Her family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support throughout the evening.
