Melchor R. Welsch

Melchor R. Welsch passed away on September 2, 2023. He was 85 years old and the beloved husband of Theresa for 61 years.

 

Mel was in the Air Force for four years. During that time he was stationed in Germany for three years, as a radio interceptor. He worked for the United States Post Office for 32 years.

 

Mel will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was a great guy. 

 

Mel is survived by his brother Joseph (Bobbie) and their children, and Theresa’s brother Joseph Sawicki and their children. Mel was predeceased by his sister and her husband Marie Mazeika (Norman), as well as his brother in law's wife, Anne.  

 

Please join the Welsch family on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Mel's life. Family sharing for Mel will begin at 7:00 pm with time for refreshments and fellowship afterwards, until 9:00 pm. Mel’s family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support throughout the gathering.
