Michael L. Frattini, 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at VITAS Inpatient Hospice Unit at Nazareth Hospital. Michael was born on December 26, 1939, to Jennie (Purri) and Americus (Ray) Frattini in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he was raised and lived his entire life. He attended Dobbins Technical High School, graduating class of 1957. Michael went on to become a Printer, a career he enjoyed for 40 years before retirement. Michael was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions. Michael was a devoted Husband and Father. His hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed the beach where he could feel the sand between his toes. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. His love for football and baseball was something he shared with his family, leaving a mark on us that will never fade. His infectious laugh and good-natured humor left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Our family would like to extend a deep appreciation to VITAS Hospice for their compassionate care of Michael. As a family, we will be forever grateful for the support and kindness shown. Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Barbara (Toto), his daughter Nicole and son-in-law Larry Meskimen, his sisters Barbara Ann Mergen and Kathleen DeCarlo, his brother-in-law John DeCarlo, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly. Per Michael’s wishes instead of a service, he would love for you to spend quality time with your family, relax at the beach, try your luck at the casino, or eagerly cheer on your favorite sports team.
In lieu of flowers, and Michael’s request, please consider making a donation in his name to the American Heart Association.
We find comfort in knowing that Michael's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
