Michael Patrick Miller, Sr.

November 3, 1966 – December 28, 2022

Michael Patrick Miller, Sr of northeast Philadelphia passed suddenly on December 28, 2022 at the age of 56. Michael is survived by the devoted mother of their children, Susan (nee Benner), his beloved sons, Michael Jr and Matthew, his sisters Diane Miller, Kerry Miller and Shannonlee Miller-Morrissey (Brian). His father John F. Miller, Sr, his mother Mary (nee Bolger) Miller and brother John F. Miller, Jr. predecease Michael. Michael was a loving uncle to Chris, Eric, John, Michael, Brian, Brianna, Jasmine, Shannon-Rae, Mariah, and great uncle to Belén, Madisyn, Noah, Lucas, A’more, Monroe, Dorian and Arthur. He is also survived by many cousins, and his beloved dog Axel.

Michael spent the better part of 30 years in management in the food and beverage industry. While he did work hard, if you knew Michael, you knew he played hard as well. He was one of the funniest people in the room, and was certainly never short on charisma. Michael’s smile was the star that lit up a room! He laughed hard, and you laughed even harder. He loved to sing, play drums and even played in a few bands like Night Shade and Hard Cider…if you know, you know! Michael was also a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and enjoyed watching the games with his boys, friends and family. He also had a passion for cars and motorcycles that he shared with his boys and many of his closest friends, most notably his long time love, the 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442.

All who loved him will truly miss Michael.

Please join the Miller family after 6:00pm on Wednesday January 4 2023 at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Michael's life. A service for Michael will begin at 7:00pm with time for refreshments and fellowship immediately afterwards, until 9:00pm where Michael's family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support.
