In lieu of flowers, please thank a veteran, get out and vote, be aware that people suffer from depression and PTSD and offer understanding and kindness to them, stop in and check on someone who is alone to see if they need help or just want to talk, and always make sure to check on those who are vulnerable and can be easily taken advantage of.
