Peacefully returned to the Lord on Thursday July 25, 2019.

Beloved wife of Thomas Hasson; Loving mother of Cheryl (James), Elaine (Thomas), Michael (Cathy), Barbara (the late Michael), Susan (William),Christine (Christopher);Dear Mom Mom of Elaine,the late Edward, Micheal, Kimberly, Thomas, Matthew, Joseph, Jack, Scott, Jeannine, Jessica, William, Sean, Brian and Patrick; great-grandmother of Sierra, Alana, Lukas, Matthew, Julian, James, Jake, and Julia; great-great grandmother of Kaden; dear sister of Frank, Jack, Bernie, Betty, Mary, Rosie and the late Cass, Helen and Peggy.

Nancy was born on October 13, 1934 in Philadelphia. She married Thomas Hasson on February 12, 1955 and they raised their family first in South Philadelphia before moving in 1969 to Northeast Philadelphia where she continued to live throughout her life.

Nancy made working full time and taking care of her family look effortless. She especially liked hosting her family for holiday gatherings. She also loved her home in Cape May, NJ. Many lasting memories were made in Cape May with family and friends.

The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days. The staff of Vitas Hospice in Nazareth Hospital was truly wonderful.

In lieu of flowers charitable donations may be made in Nancy’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association .
