Nancy Louise Palmer

On Saturday, January 21, 2023, Nancy Louise Palmer, 67 years old, sadly passed away in Vitas Hospice at Nazareth Hospital.  Preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Francis Palmer, brother, David, and great-nephew Justin. 
Survived by her sister, Pam Race and her life partner Bill Schmidt, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless friends, many of whom are sisters of the heart.  

Nancy loved traveling, country music, all 4 legged animals, cruising around with no destination in mind, spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, and living life to the fullest.

She retired from Nazareth Hospital after 40 years of service as a Nursing Assistant, in her early years and then as a Unit Secretary for the remaining time. 

Nancy was best known for her quick-witted humor, generous spirit, big heart who was always willing to help, and a natural GPS navigator despite never having a driver’s license, but she knew how to get you to your destination! Whenever you talked, worked, traveled, or visited with Nancy, you were sure to have many laughs and left with great memories.  
Nancy will be missed deeply but will never be forgotten!

Please join the Palmer family after 6:00pm on Wednesday March 1, 2023 at Delaware Valley Cremation Center 7350 State Road Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Nancy's life. Family sharing for Nancy will begin at 7:00pm with time for refreshments and fellowship immediately afterwards, until 9:00pm where her family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrances and support.
