Nancy A. Singer

Nancy Ann Singer, born May 4, 1935 (88), passed away after a short illness on November 29, 2023. She was born to the late Anna and John Modla of Nantcoke, PA.

Nancy moved to the area to work for Bell Telephone in the mid 50’s. She married the late Francis (Luke) Singer in 1955 and settled in Croydon, where they raised their son.

Nancy was the loving mother of Michael (Connie) and Grandmother of Michael Jr. (Erinn), Nicholas, Emily (Scott), and Patrick. Nancy was the beloved sister of James Modla of Florida. She was the proud Aunt of 5 nieces and Great-Aunt to 5. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her brother John and sister Margaret Dzumaga.

Being a Grandparent was Nancy’s greatest joy. She was a participant of the Silver Sneakers program in Lower Bucks County for many years. She also enjoyed going to the movies, bargain shopping for the best deal, costume jewelry, anything purple and was an avid joke teller and jokester. Nancy viewed life through rose colored glasses (literally).

Nancy will be sadly missed by her family and friends especially her life-long friend, Helen Palcidi.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 5 - 8 pm at
