Nicky Galzarano

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dominick “Nicky” Galzarano on May 10, 2025, at the young age of 27.

From an early age, Nicky showed promise and dedication. He was honored to attend and graduate from Masterman School. A talented athlete with a particular love for boxing, Nicky trained in “Cane’s Corner” at Costello’s Gym, where his hard work led him to five amateur victories and the distinguished title of Pennsylvania’s Golden Gloves Champion. He was also an enthusiastic participant in football and baseball, playing with both Moss A.A. and Crispin A.C.

Nicky is lovingly remembered by his grandmother, Carol Hrbek; his sisters, Frankie and Ashlyn Galzarano; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Lynne Rhoads, and grandfather, Dale Hrbek.

Though Nicky’s life was tragically cut short, his spirit and memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever. Those who knew and loved him take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace and reunited with his mom—just where he always wanted to be.
