Norman Ira Smith

Norman Ira Smith passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 after a courageous battle with colorectal cancer. Norman was a loving and devoted husband of 48 years to the late Janet (Longan) Smith. Norman was the son of Norman H and Anna Grandinetti Smith and brother of the late Delores Denny. Norman graduated from Mastbaum High. He worked for Acme Markets for 35 years. He also volunteered at Chandler Hall for many years. Norman ran the polls and was Judge of Elections for Lower Southampton Township. Norman was also known for his cooking, his artistic abilities and being an all-around handyman.
Father of Norman (Michele), Michelle Rayher (Erich), Janet Hansen (Jeff), Michael (Lanette) and Timmy. Survived by his adoring grandchildren Ashlie Stocchi (Brett), Brianna (Corey), Erich, Stephanie, Shane, Kylie, Madisyn, Jeremy, Alexa and Jayden. Also survived by 3 great-grandchildren Bryce, Emersyn, Everlyee. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Advent Lutheran Church, 45 Worthington Mill Road, Richboro, PA 18954. A Church service will follow at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Norman’s name to Chandler Hall, 99 Barclay Street, Newtown, PA 18940. Family would like to thank the nurses at St. Mary’s Cancer Care and Chandler Hall Hospice.
