PATRICK J. BRENNAN
Story teller extraordinaire, passed away peacefully surround by family members on April 27, 2017, after a three-year battle with Uvela Melanoma. He was a devoted father of Aria and Gaia Brennan, grandfather to Jayden Serrano and Dominic King. Preceded in death by his son Christopher Brennan. Survived by brothers, Mike Brennan, John Brennan, (Barbra), Nephews, Sean, Mike and Kevin Brennan, Niece, Rashelle Brennan.
He was a painter by trade but took a 4-year hiatus when he enlisted in the Navy at the age of 26 and became a Corpsman with the 2d Marine Division, where he was a Field Medical Technician. He traveled the world with the Marines and loved every minute of it. If he wasn’t telling one of his stories he was singing an Irish Song. He had a kind word for everyone and was an environmentalist.
Patrick loved life and fought his illness until the end, betting he would beat it.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial gathering 9:00 AM Saturday May 20, 2017 at St. Genevie’s Catholic Church, 1225 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA. Followed by his Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow Mass at the Glenside VFW 2519 Jenkintown Road Glenside, PA. 19038.
