Peter Hefley

Peter Hefley, 70 years old, of Levittown, PA passed away with his loving wife and son by his side at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, PA on Monday, February 20, 2023. Pete was born March 31, 1952 in Rockford, IL. He was preceded in death by his father (David), mother (Helen), sister (Carol) and brother (David).

Pete grew up in Levittown, PA and graduated from Pennsbury Senior High School in 1972. He went on to the United States Navy and then to become a proud member of International Laborers’ Local Union 57 (Heavy Highway and Building Trades) which he retired from in 2003.

Pete was a devoted family man: husband to Barbara for 47 years, father to Peter and daughter-in-law Lauren and Pop Pop to Wesley and Lilyan.  Always passionate about the outdoors; he loved deer hunting, fishing, and simply walking in the woods. Pete was a devoted friend; he loved spending with his buddies. In retirement, he was interested in anything with motors and could be found at any time tinkering with tractors, lawnmowers and ATV.
