Ralph V. Carrullo, Sr.

Ralph V. Carrullo, Sr., age 83, passed on to his eternal home on June 15, 2025.

Ralph was born and raised in Port Richmond. He was a longtime resident of the Greater Northeast Philadelphia area. He was the son of the late Anthony and Helen, and brother to the late Joseph (Buddy).

Ralph was the beloved husband of the late, Barbara (née DeLeo). Ralph is survived by his three children, Ralph, Jr. (Elyse), Sandra and Lisa Carrullo. He was Pop to his granddaughters, Rachael, Gabriella (Stephanie) and Francesca. He was also Pop to his great-grandchildren, MilaCapri, Lucia, Leena, and Matteo. 

His favorite place to be was at the Jersey shore. He and his wife Barbara spent many summers at their shore house. He loved to spend his time on the beach, in the ocean, and boating. Together they spent their time exploring the various shore points and enjoying the local cuisine. The highlight of the season would be whenever friends and family would gather at their house for good times and laughter. And a few of Barbara’s homemade crabs and spaghetti dinners!

Whether at home in Philadelphia, or at the shore house, Ralph accomplished numerous home improvement and renovation projects. It can’t be left unsaid that Ralph loved his wife’s cooking, especially all of the delicious Italian food. He enjoyed all of the holidays, which were a special time for the family to gather. 

Ralph will be greatly missed by his and his wife’s faithful, constant companion, their dog Mia. Anyone who knew Ralph knew how much he loved that dog!! He will also be greatly missed by his daughter Lisa’s dog, Ava.

A funeral Mass for Ralph will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Christ the King Church, 3252 Chesterfield Road, Philadelphia, PA 19114. The visitation will be from 10:00am, prior to mass. Interment will be held at a later date.
