Randy passed away after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer early yesterday morning. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
Randy Wayne Beatty, 75, of Buck Valley, Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania, went home to be with his Savior on August 24, 2025 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on May 29, 1950, in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, the son of the late Seibert Beatty and Catherine Manning Beatty.
Randy graduated from Southern Fulton County High School in 1968 and went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University. He retired from his last career as a social worker
with Bucks County Children and Youth, where his compassion, wisdom and commitment touched countless lives.
A man of many talents, Randy was a true jack of all trades—skilled in auto repair, welding, construction, and plumbing. He also enjoyed the simple joys of country living, including
homesteading, fishing, hunting, and working with his hands. An avid game player, he especially loved bridge and checkers, and he found joy in billiards, basketball, and bluegrass music.
Randy’s strong faith in Jesus guided his life, and he was known for his sharp intellect, unique sense of humor, and fiercely independent spirit. He loved the quiet beauty of the country as well as traveling out West, where he found peace and inspiration.
He is survived by his brother, Merle Beatty of Buck Valley, three grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
At his request, there will be no formal service. The family will celebrate his life privately.
Randy will be deeply missed by his long-time companion, Tammy, as well as his family and friends, who will remember his wit, wisdom, and unwavering strength.
