Raymond L. Stevens, Sr.

After a courageous battle with cancer, Raymond Lee Stevens Sr. passed away on December 28, 2024 in Philadelphia, PA, at the age of 62.

Ray is survived by his four children, Raymond Stevens Jr. (Ashley), Danielle Stevens (David), Amy Stevens (Gregory Jr.), and Jason Stevens; sibling Fred Stevens, and seven loving grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents Frederick and Dora (Sooy) Stevens Jr., and sibling Brian Stevens.

Ray was born on July 30, 1962. In his earlier years, Ray married late Diane (Bennett) Stevens, his high school sweetheart, both from West Deptford, NJ. They brought their four children into the world. In his later years, Ray was especially proud of his strengthened faith and his legacy - his grandchildren listed from each of his children respectively: Kaylee; Savana and Owen; Gregory III, Brody, and Aiden; and Mazie. 

To honor Ray’s wishes, there will be no funeral service, but rather a private scattering of ashes at sea by his close loved ones. The family would like to thank Jefferson Medical for their oncology care, and Roxborough Memorial Hospital staff for their more immediate efforts.
