Heaven gained the most beautiful angel and a piece of our hearts. Regina was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Celestine Gradel; her sisters, Catherine, Verna, Celestine and Loretta (Regina’s twin); her brothers, Anthony and Gene; and her son, Nicholas Jr. She is survived by her husband, Nicholas Sr.; her three daughters, Linda Beeman, Lisa, and Regina Allen (Daniel); her daughter-in-law, Halina; her four grandchildren, Nicholas III (Katie), Christine (Vinnie Stainer), Jennifer Johnson (CB), and Maggie Jean Allen; her three great grandchildren, Gianna, Logan and Emma; and many nieces and nephews.
Regina was born and raised in Philadelphia. She relocated to Holland in 1980. She found great joy in reading, knitting, painting, gardening, volunteering in her parish/community and being surrounded by her family and friends. She especially enjoyed watching the deer and hummingbirds that would frequent her home as well as caring for her green neck finches.
A memorial service for friends and family will be held on Saturday January 28th at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Southampton, PA. 18966. Friends and family who wish to share memories of Regina and condolences with her famiy may arrive at 11:00 am, with her memorial mass begining at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the “Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute” or “Holy Redeemer Health Home Care” is appreciated.
