Richard A. Marcinkowski, Jr.

Richard Allen Marcinkowski Jr. of Warminster, PA, passed suddenly just after midnight on January 1, 2021, at the age of 63, with his wife and daughter by his side. Rick is survived by his devoted wife of more than 33 years, Linda (Brown); loving daughter, Jennifer (fiance Atie); his most precious grandson, Camden; mother-in-law, Lois (Volpe) Brown (the late Vincent); sisters Deborah Catoggio (the late Victor) and Barbara Camarda (Steven); brother-in-law Vincent Brown (Lisa); nieces Stephanie Catoggio, Jaime Wagner (Eric) and nephews Timothy Catoggio (fiance Emily) and Vincent Brown (fiance Rachel); great-nephew Benjamin Wagner; great-niece Abigail Wagner.

Rick was born April 13, 1957 in Philadelphia, where he lived for most of his life. He was the eldest child of the late Richard and Barbara (Plaskon) Marcinkowski. He attended St. Katherine of Siena grade school and Archbishop Ryan High School. Rick worked as a truck driver for a variety of companies, heavy equipment operator then he found his true passion as a carpenter. He first worked independently doing home repairs and remodeling, then as a member of the Carpenter’s Union for almost 10 years. A severe illness prevented him from working for an extended period, but eventually he was able to return to his carpentry. He enjoyed working with his hands, small repairs to full construction, decks, drywall, wood working, and an expert tile setter. Just weeks before his passing, Rick completed a full remodel of his home kitchen!

Rick enjoyed vacationing in warm places and at least a week each summer at the Jersey shore with his wife Linda, daughter Jennifer, and later with grandson Camden. He enjoyed boating and fishing on his own boat and charters! Rick was an avid coin collector but his favorite hobby was collecting anything Harley Davidson. His request from anyone traveling was a local Harley t-shirt! Rick’s “Man Cave” was dedicated to his Harley collection. Though he rarely rode, he loved working on his motorcycle! Another passion was his trucks - always impeccably clean, waxed and totally “pimped out.” Ricked loved to cook - dinner for the family and holiday meals. He also loved to dine out, especially a huge steak “Pittsburgh style” or a double order of lamb chops.

Rick loved to laugh and even more to make others laugh. Many might say he had a warped sense of humor. Even as an adult he loved to watch cartoons, especially with his grandson, Camden. He could be likened to one of the Three Stooges and completely enjoyed physical comedy and America’s Funniest Home Videos. Most times, you knew Rick’s opinion of people and events more by the expressions on his face than by what he said. He was a truly unique individual and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him!
