Robert Ems

Robert Charles Ems, age 82, passed away on October 21, 2025, peacefully in his favorite recliner with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Carol Ems. Loving father of Karen Landay (Michael), Susan Santella (Mark), and Patricia Ems. Grandfather of Matthew, Robbie, Zachary, Charlie, Katie, Andrew, and Olivia. Great grandfather of 5 granddaughters who referred to him as “little pop”.

Robert lived in Philadelphia, most recently residing at Delaire Landing Apartments, where he loved to drive his scooter and gather with his buddies. He was an auto mechanic by trade working for International Harvester and later owning his own auto repair shop, BC Auto Repairs. After retiring, he kept busy delivering flowers for Roosevelt-Kennedy Florist. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all that loved him.

A celebration of life for Robert will be held at a later date for his family and friends.
