Robert J. Horn, 68, of the Port Richmond section in Philadelphia, passed away on September 10th, 2026. Born on June 27th, 1958 and raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Debra and their daughters, Christine (Rob) and Jessica (Brendan) and his brother, Charles. He was reunited in death by his daughter, Gina and sisters, Geraldine, Marie, and Margaret Ann.

He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Danny Boy, Julia “Chop Stick Sissy,” and “Let It Rip, Tater Chip” Robert Fitzmaurice, who brought him immeasurable joy and whom he loved beyond words. Their memories of him, his love, and the special nicknames he gave them will remain in their hearts forever.

Bob lived a life defined by an unwavering devotion to those he loved. His time spent in Kensington inspired him to write hundreds of poems and songs over the years. He loved to write about his childhood friends, the Birch and Amber Crew and all of their antics.

Please join the Horn family on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136, for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Bob’s life. A service for him will begin at 7:00 pm, followed by time for refreshments and food, until 9:00 pm. Bob’s family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrance, and support throughout the evening.
