Robert D. Nelson, Jr.

Robert D Nelson Jr, of Gloucester City NJ,   passed away from lung cancer on Sunday June 4, 2023 at 68 years of age.

Bob had come full cycle, he was born in Mt. Holly Hospital and eventually left this world in Mt. Holly Hospital's Samaritan Hospice. Bob was born to Robert Nelson Sr and Doris Boyer (nee Dreyer), both predeceased, on December 11th 1954.

Bob loved his better half of 35 years, Robin (nee Ireland), more than words could express. Bob was the best Daddy ever to Vickie (Russell), Rusty, and Danielle (Sean). Bob loved his grandchildren and would have given the world to Michael (Alyssa), Emily (Christian), Meadow, Milo, Max, Bethany, Evan, and Ava. Bob was  proud to welcome his 1st great-grandchild Chase just 2 months ago. Bob was selfless when it came to his grandchildren, if not for his love and dedication to all the grandkids his granddaughter Bethany would not be alive today. Pop Pop will live on in each of their hearts forever.

Bob grew up in Delanco, NJ where he was close to his brother Craig(Sue) and cousin's Tommy (Phyllis) and Lori Nelson. Bob cherished his lifelong friends Mark (Meg) Stofko, Ray (Lorraine) Creely, and predeceased Joey and Rick Creely.
