Robert John Purvis 68, of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on August 23, 2021, Robert was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 46 years Kathleen (nee Legel), and a proud father to his three children Kate, Christine and son-in-law Thomas Delesandro, and Michael and daughter-in-law Sara. He was blessed to be “Pop” to his grandchildren Ava, Nicky, Theo, and Grant. He was retired after a long and distinguished career with the Philadelphia Police department, where he rose to the rank of Detective.
