Robert Kenneth Vierick

Robert Kenneth Vierick passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 91, at his home in Huntingdon Valley. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judith (nee Wendler). Born on April 11,1930 in Philadelphia, Bob was a long-time resident of Huntingdon Valley. He retired from the Fredericks Company in 1992.

He is also survived by his children Robert Vierick, Jr., Gail Pasquarella (Arthur), Stephen Gosser (Carol) and Laura Roesser (Adam Spivak); sister Carole Lichtenhahn, and sisters-in-law Loretta Vierick and Susan Cochrane (William). Bob was a loving Poppi to Amanda Cannon (Eric), Jessica Hinds (Kevin), Katherine Wynne (John), Caroline Gosser (Jake Skinner), Halle Roesser, Harrison Roesser, and R. Scott and R. Alexander Vierick. He was honored to be a great-grandfather to Zachary and Madison Cannon, and Noah Hinds. He was beloved by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Caroline, his brother Harry (Bud) Vierick, and brother-in law Carl Lichtenhahn.

Bob lived an active life and enjoyed skiing, bowling, boating and golfing. He was a 3rd degree Master Mason, and a member of W.K. Bray Lodge #410 in Hatboro, PA. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Bob and Judy loved to travel, and they were always looking forward to their next adventure.

A memorial service will be held in the spring to celebrate Bob's life. Bob was a founding member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Donations can be made in Bob’s memory to Gloria Dei Church, 570 Welsh Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 or to Shriners Children’s Philadelphia, 3551 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
