Ron Shiken, Jr.

Ron “The Boy” Shiken Jr, 34 of 13512 Bustleton Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19136 passed away April 13, 2025. Ron was born at Northeastern Hospital, June 1, 1990 the beloved son of the late Lisa Ann O’Neill and the late Ron Shiken Sr.

He was a 2008 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School.

Ron was employed by BM Consulting for the past 9 years. He loved his job, took pride in his work and spoke highly of his co-workers. In 2024 he was certified by the American Fire and Sprinkler Association.

Ron enjoyed listening to music especially his favorite band Linkin Park and watching Philadelphia Eagles football games. He loved everything Marvel and DC especially Batman. He spent a lot of time gaming with his friends and collecting comic books and Pokémon cards. Ron was outgoing, charismatic, loving, kind, funny, competitive and smart. He worked hard and knew how to have a good time. A great guy that enjoyed life. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Ron is survived by his sister Desiree Shiken, step father Christopher Fleury Sr, step brother Christopher Fleury Jr, grandmother Helena O’Neill, Aunts and Uncles; Cheryl and Steve Dilchus, Donna and William Cloman, James and Delores O’Neill, Carole and Harold Hill. Cousins; Melissa, Steven, Amanda, Nicole, Ashley, Brianne and many more. He will also be remembered by his nieces and nephews. He was Preceded in death by his mother Lisa Ann O’Neill, father Ron Shiken Sr and step sister Katelyn Fleury.

Please join Ron's family and friends on Thursday May 1, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136, for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating his life. A service for Ron will begin at 7:00 pm, followed by time for refreshments and food, until 9:00pm. Ron's family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrance, and support throughout the evening.
