Ronald Ferraro

Ronald Ferraro, 81 years old, of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on May 20, 2022. Ronald was born on October 7, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of the late Vera and Albert Ferraro. 

He is survived by his devoted wife Carol Ferraro of 54 years; his children, Albert and Stephanie (Sendek); son-in-law, Mark Sendek; his beloved grandchildren, Alyssa, Abigail and Juliet; sisters, Mary Doughtery and Kathleen Ondik; many nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Frances Grisgood.

Ronald had many nicknames including Bill, Pappy, Brooklyn and Bonjo. Bill was an avid sports fan, especially of the Eagles, Sixers, Phillies and Brooklyn Dodgers. He loved jazz music, singing along with Frank Sinatra, traveling, mostly on cruise ships and telling jokes or a good story. He was one of a kind. God broke the mold when He made him. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of all of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Please join the Ferraro and Sendek families on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 6pm-9pm (service at 7pm) at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136 for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Bill’s life.
