Russell C. Sellers

After a long illness, Russell C. Sellers of Wissinoming, passed quietly on July 2nd. He is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Carol, his son John, daughter-in-law Shana, and granddaughter Kendall. Also, his daughter Janna and grandson Reed and granddaughter Janna Jane.

Russ' career as a Philadelphia Police Officer spanned over 3 decades. He started out in the 9th District and ended his career in the 23rd/24th Districts. Russ received many awards and commendations for his kindness and helpfulness to the public during his career.

Last but not least, Russell was a good son and brother. He was a loving husband, wonderful father and grandfather and a loyal friend. He is sadly missed by us all. God bless you. God keep you. Much love Russ.

Please join the Sellers family on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Delaware Valley Cremation Center, 7350 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136, for a gathering of remembrance in honoring and celebrating Russ's life. A service for Russ will begin at 7:00 pm, followed by time for refreshments and food, until 9:00pm. His family will be accessible to receive the loving comfort of your condolences, remembrance, and support throughout the evening.
