Sandra Goldstein

Sandra "Sandy" Gribo Goldstein (89) passed away on April 1, 2026 in New Jersey. Sandy was born and raised in Philadelphia and lived there almost all of her life. She met her first beloved husband, Jacob "Jack", and they married in 1958. There, they raised their three adoring children. Jack sadly passed away in 1986. Two years later, Sandy met Bart Lapin, the 2nd love of her life. They eventually married in 2000, and were very happy together until Bart’s death in 2010.

Sandy was a wonderful athlete, enjoying many years of tennis, line dancing, baking, and socializing. She also enjoyed music, and playing her piano. Sandy was famous for her hamantaschen! She cherished her family, and was loved and adored by them in return.

Sandy is survived by her 3 children, Jeff (Marty), Warren (Eve), and Stacey Rich (David), her sisters, Myra Altschuler and Bonnie Rappaport, her 6 grandchildren (Jake, Blair, Amelia, Jason, Caroline & Jonathan) and 2 great-grandchildren (Mason & Logan). She is also survived by her 3 loving step-children, Dana, Elisa, and Marc Lapin. Sandy also had many cherished friends, especially Sandee Berman, her lifelong friend and closest confidant.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Sandy’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or JFS food Pantry - Atlantic County.
